All drivers within the scope of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 1996 must be trained and hold a Vocational Training Certificate issued by DVLA.
This is required by UK regulations implementing the relevant EU directive.
All courses are approved by the department of transport (DFT) and drivers must pass the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) examinations which are integrated in the courses. Compulsory refresher training must be completed within the five year expiry of the date of issue of the original certificate.
At Logicom Hub we use a local business partner JLD Training that is an accredited SQA training centre with over 40 years of experience in training drivers from all backgrounds. They have an excellence pass rate as well as excellent training facilities. JLD are part of the National Logistic Academy.
